Guitar and Vocals
Ron’s musical journey began at just eight years old when he first picked up the guitar. By 14 he was already performing in nightclubs, and he hasn’t stopped since.
In the early 1980s, Ron sang and played guitar with Medallion, touring extensively along the East Coast from Maine to Pennsylvania with the band’s Econoline van serving as home on the road. Over the years, he has performed with numerous projects, including Ceptor, Shaky Ground, The SGS Project, TRAK DOWN, and Gold Dust Refugee.
Today, in addition to Eagles Encounter, Ron can also be found performing locally with his acoustic duo, Blue House Between.
Guitar and Vocals
Marc Tareila picked up the guitar at age 13 and was heavily involved in music throughout high school, including several years performing in a Christian rock band. Influenced by guitarists Phil Keaggy, Eric Johnson, and Dan Huff, Marc developed an appreciation for musicianship, creativity, and the little details that make a song memorable.
Over the years, Marc has played guitar and sung with several bands, including Vinyl Junkies, Rearview Mirror, and Gold Dust Refugee. He also performs as a solo acoustic artist, bringing his guitar and vocals to a more intimate setting.
In Eagles Encounter, Marc has been expanding his skills on slide guitar and the talk box to capture those unmistakable Joe Walsh moments.
A self-described perfectionist (although his bandmates might have a few other descriptions), Marc isn’t satisfied with simply playing the right notes at the right time. He works to capture the tone, feel, and character of the original recordings. And with sarcasm practically his second language, there’s rarely a shortage of humor along the way.
Keys, Sax, and Vocals
Growing up in the Berkshires, Glenn has been surrounded by music for as long as he can remember. From childhood piano lessons to playing saxophone in school, music has always been a constant in his life. Since then, he has rarely found himself without a band (or two)!
Over the years, Glenn has performed in a variety of musical projects, including rock and funk bands in Washington, D.C., sharing the stage with his brother Mike, and playing keyboards for The Verge.
His musical tastes are just as diverse as his experience, ranging from yacht rock and songs with big brass sections, to early 2000s hard rock. That versatility makes him a natural fit for Eagles Encounter, where he enjoys the intricate harmonies, musical dynamics, and ability to blend multiple genres into their unmistakable sound.
Now bringing his talents on keyboards, saxophone, and backing vocals to Eagles Encounter, Glenn is excited to share the stage with an incredibly talented group of musicians and bring the timeless music of the Eagles to life.
Guitar
Bruce spent the first half of his life in Southern California, where his older brothers introduced him at an early age to the music of the Eagles, Jackson Browne, and Linda Ronstadt. Nearly 30 years ago, he moved to New England and has since pledged his allegiance to the Red Sox, Celtics, Patriots, and Bruins.
A longtime guitarist, Bruce has performed in cover bands for many years, including two previous stints alongside Marc in Vinyl Junkies and Rearview Mirror. That shared musical history makes playing together again in Eagles Encounter especially meaningful.
Although Bruce now lives in central New Hampshire, he gladly makes the three hour round-trip drive to rehearse and perform with the band. His dedication, experience, and love for this music make him an essential part of the Eagles Encounter sound.
Drums and Vocals
Rich began playing drums at the age of 10, developing his skills through many years of private instruction. By 17 he was already performing live, playing original music at the Scotch & Sound Club in Brockton.
In his early 20s, Rich attended Berklee College of Music, where he expanded his musical foundation and was exposed to a wide range of styles. During that time, he performed every Friday and Saturday at The Old Timers in Clinton, playing everything from show tunes and big band, to jazz.
Rich later explored country music before joining Worcester-area band Side Effect, performing throughout New England at clubs, weddings, and corporate events. He went on to become a member of TRAK DOWN and then Gold Dust Refugee, further adding to his extensive live-performance experience.
Bass Guitar
George is a self-taught bass player with 50 years of experience and a lifelong love of classic rock. A devoted fan of the Eagles since childhood, George brings decades of playing experience and a deep appreciation for the band’s music to every performance.
His musical journey has included playing with TRAK DOWN and Gold Dust Refugee, where he developed a reputation for his solid, dependable approach and respect for the original recordings.
George is a no-frills player who believes the music speaks for itself. When it comes to Eagles Encounter, his goal is simple: play the songs note for note, and capture the feel, precision, and character of the original recordings.
